Senator Morrison wants to ensure our community remains a place of opportunity, growth and unity. She advocates for investing in community-based nonprofits, emphasizing their intimate knowledge and understanding of the community. It is because of their experience on the frontlines that Senator Morrison knows she can trust them as partners in helping increase community wellbeing.

She recently brought a $2 million investment into the Highwood Library, significantly benefiting our vibrant Hispanic community by providing access to more resources and fostering educational growth. Additionally, Senator Morrison secured a $3 million allocation for the development of the Roseland Franklin lab, a project designed to nurture local entrepreneurship by offering rentable space for budding business minds.

She’s brought more than $1.75 million for the Family Services Center, renamed the Josselyn Center, in just the last two years to increase mental health services and provide resources to those with disabilities.
