State Senator Julie Morrison (D-Deerfield) received the endorsement of the Associated Fire Fighters of Illinois for her support of issues affecting professional firefighters in Illinois.
“Public safety cannot be compromised — and our current gubernatorial administration has allowed that happen by neglecting the welfare of our public safety officers,” Senator Morrison said. “The Associated Fire Fighters of Illinois has made successful efforts to protect and support firefighters throughout the state of Illinois.”

The Associated Fire Fighters of Illinois (AFFI) represents more than 15,000 professional firefighters in 225 communities across the state of Illinois.
